Introducing Samantha Marie Graham…
FIRE!
Want a steady, powerful stream of water
coming out of the hose you are holding…or just a trickle?
Is this the time to discover there is a kink in the hose,
the water source is turned off, or there are holes in the hose?
Or would you want to enter this situation with great confidence that all that you need is completely available to you?
If you would wholeheartedly prefer to have everything needed available to you, then you will find great help and encouragement from my life journey.
The “fires” in my life grew as time passed, until I found myself on my death bed in my 30’s. I was quite confident that I had handled everything decently well until that point. But this “fire” was not controllable or extinguishable for there were no earthly sources of help, including me. I could not fix this, control this, or save myself.
One day as I was laying in the ER bed, I sensed I was being asked a question by the Creator God, something very rare for me. He asked, “Would you like to live or die?” I replied, “Live.” His response to me was this invitation: “If you would like to live, then you will need to live My way this time, not yours.” I began to ponder what '“My way” meant for I was a Christian, a minister’s wife, and a missionary. What had I missed? So my response was this: “If You are really the True God and You know a completely different way for me to live, will You personally teach me?” He replied, “Yes, I will.” That day I said yes to His invitation, clueless to that being the beginning of an all-encompassing, life-altering journey with the God that created all, created me.
Well, that was really the One True God that day inviting me to get to know and unify with Him in an experiential, loving relationship. He has and continues to faithfully teach me, vitally connecting me to Himself so He is the One freely flowing in and through me at all times. The Water is always on! After two decades of learning from the Master, our Shepherd and True Vine, my greatest love is Him and letting Him freely live in me and freely feed others through me.
The LORD is my shepherd. I am never in need. (Psalm 23:1,gw)
I am the Vine; you are the branches.
Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit.
However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me]
you can do nothing. (John 15:5, amp)
In need of vital connection to the True Vine?
I would see it as an honor and privilege to assist in connecting you to the greatest Source of Love and Life ever!
Listening to Him with you,
Samantha Marie Graham
Shema Living Ministry Faith Statements
We believe in the One God revealed in the Bible. He is a relational God manifested in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He interacts with His creation as all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present. In His Person, He does not change, cannot lie, and His very nature is love, truth, righteousness, holiness, wisdom, and life. Though He initiates communication and desires intimacy with humankind He created, He is not created and not like human beings, God is eternal!
We believe the Holy Scriptures, the Bible—the Old Testament and New Testament—is God’s story. Through chosen servants, God is the Author of the Bible and His primary way He speaks His grace, love, and truth as He interacts with His creation, disciples, and church. With God as Author the Bible is completely accurate, fully inerrant, and absolutely truthful. The Bible, as God’s Word and Breath, is like a lamp to guide our lives and like a living knife that penetrates to reveal one’s inward thoughts and motives. God, through His Word, brings us into unity with Himself as the Scriptures points one to Jesus.
We believe Jesus Christ was in the beginning as part of the Godhead and while on earth was 100% God and 100% man. As Jesus lived, He demonstrated the perfect way God wants humankind to know and relate to Him in a daily way. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed great miracles, taught the ways of God and His kingdom, and died on a cross—taking our place—was buried but rose from the grave and death, and now lives in heaven with His Heavenly Father always praying for us. Jesus is the Savior of the world and the Way to experience God in a unified relationship that begins and develops on earth as His disciple and lasts forever with Him in heaven.
We believe in the continuing work of God to pursue and deepen relationship with each person through Himself, as the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit a person is a new creation, has a new mind, and new character expressed in the fruit of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit reminds us of what Jesus taught while He was on earth, convicts an individual of sin, and continues to teach us the truths of Christ and His kingdom. The Holy Spirit comes to live in a everyone in Jesus Christ and His indwelling presence is an indication that we will always be God’s child and have eternal life.
We believe in the future resurrection of the saved and the lost, that is, relationship with God or separated from God will be one’s eternal reality. Just as Jesus’ earthly death was not the end but was the entrance into eternity so it is true for every person. Relationship with God through Christ is not just an earthly reality but an eternal one. Eternal relationship with God through Christ continues with Him in the new heaven and new earth. If relationship with God never was formed during one’s earthly existence, then eternal separation from God will continue.
We believe that the fall of humankind and moral depravity happened in the Garden of Eden through the sin of Adam and Eve. Relationship with God was broken and we all, at birth, enter this world in that condition. Each person is born with a sinful heart who chooses to go against God and personally desires life to be centered around one’s self instead of founded on God, unified with Him in Christ Jesus. God-centered living allows one to truly experience being a new creation, through heart-belief in Jesus Christ and the dwelling of the Holy Spirit and the needed surrender to live in unity and daily dependence on God, His Life, Love, and Authority is fully known.
We believe Jesus Christ commanded each follower to be a disciple who, in turn, would make disciples who learn to know God and live in a relational way with Him. As a Christ-follower one lives as citizens of Jesus’ Kingdom and is to live and go in one’s world as a commissioned follower to help (1) others say “Yes.” to Jesus as Savior and Lord; (2) be baptized in the name of the Triune God; and (3) be taught to obey the teachings of Christ Jesus.
We believe Jesus is the Head and builder of the local church. A disciple of Jesus will continue in His relationship with Christ with the help and support to mature in Christ among a spiritual family, the body of Christ. Together, the church is to function, under Christ and His authority to build one another up as well as accomplish the specific purpose and mission that He has designed that local body to experience and accomplish.
We believe in Jesus’ expectant and triumphant return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Jesus’ final and ultimate return allows each believer to continue with Him in the new heaven and new earth the experience of their relationship that had begun on earth with salvation and spiritual growth. When Jesus returns He will: (1) unite all people who believed in Him—both living and dead—to life forevermore; (2) defeat the spiritual enemy, Satan, and all His followers; (3) judge every person for their personal choices; and (4) create a brand new perfect heaven and a brand new perfect earth that forever unites all who truly believed in Him to worship Him, give Him praise, and do His work.
